Getting Started in VEXcode
In this session we will meet the participants, get to know the V5 system and the VEXcode development environment. You will be able to write, compile, download and run a program on the V5. You will see how to download wired and wirelessly, be able to run a program from the computer, from the V5 brain and from the V5 remote. Finally you will be able to send information to the V5 brain.

Using Sensors in VEXCode
Starting with programming structures of the while loop, if, if..else and variables this section moves on to using VEX sensors with VEXcode and the V5 platform.

VEXCode Movement
In this session you will be able to set up motors, be able to use several of the VEXcode movement commands for the drive train, an arm and a hand. There are several reinforcement activities.

Remote Control
In In this section we will cover direct mapping remote control, indirect mapping, using the joysticks and buttons on the remotes and well as incorporating sensors to improving driving. We will finish this section by covering how to put your code into the competition template and use your remote to test the competition code.

V5 Vision Sensor
In this section you will see how to configure and calibrate the V5 Vision sensor. You will see you to get your robot to recognize and track an object.
